Homebuyer Education & Counseling

For those only interested in homebuyer education and counseling, we ask that you provide us with at least 3 weeks’ notice before your closing date so that we have time to work on your file. For more information on these services, please review our Homebuyer Education & Counseling flyer.

Down Payment Assistance (DPA)

We are currently at max capacity and cannot accept new clients for Down Payment Assistance in 2024.

During normal operations, we provide Down Payment and Closing Cost Assistance funds for the following jurisdictions: St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Florissant, Jefferson County, St. Charles County, and O’Fallon. Homebuyer education and counseling is included in this process.

To learn more about our process with DPA clients, please watch our introductory video. You can also view the presentation slides  as a PDF.

For a one-page summary of the main requirements, please review our DPA Info Chart. You can also view specific requirements per jurisdiction below.

For those closing in St. Louis City, we recommend checking out HomeSTL’s website for funds up to $50k. During normal operations, we can stack our funds with theirs.

For those closing everywhere else, we recommend reaching out to Better Family Life (314-367-3440) or Beyond Housing (314-533-0600). These agencies have funds in St. Louis County, Florissant, Jefferson County, St. Charles County, and O’Fallon.
