FHLB Down Payment Assistance Program
If you are receiving down payment assistance funds from a lender using Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) funds, you are likely required to receive both online education and one-on-one counseling to participate in the FHLB program. Please click on the button below for more instructions on the FHLB Chicago and FHLB Dallas programs.
Intake Packet
First, please complete the intake packet and send us all items mentioned on the last page (pay stubs, bank statements, etc.) click on the button below to access the intake packet.
Online Homebuyer Education Course
The online Homebuyer Education Course is provided by eHome America, and the cost is $115.00, which you will pay when you register for the class. Click on the button below to begin.
Monthly Budget Sheet
You must also complete a monthly budget sheet so you can keep track of your spending habits. We will review this item with you during the counseling session. Please see that sheet below, which also includes an instruction sheet for assistance.
One-on-One Counseling
After all of the above items are finished, you will need to make the payment for the one-on-one counseling session. This session is provided by The Housing Partnership staff and is available via Zoom or over the phone. The cost for this counseling is $115.00.
Credit / Debit Card Payment
If you want to pay for the counseling by debit/credit card, please register by clicking the Counseling Registration button below.
These payments can count towards the amount you must contribute per FHLB requirements to receive their funds. Once you have sent us the intake packet and documents and completed payments for the online education and one-on-one counseling, we will contact you to schedule the counseling session.
